In the church, we love er’body.
Jesus said to love your neighbor as you love yourself.
All are welcome to worship with us, the right way <wink wink>.
We got authority and superiority <nudge nudge>.
Jesus himself joins us most Sundays –he sure is proud of us.
What’s that you say? Why no women in leadership roles?
Well, we follow Jesus, and Jesus wants the boys in charge.
Huh, where’s our contemporary “Praise Jesus” music?
Jesus likes things a little quieter ’round here.
Where’s all our Black people?
Shoot, don’t forget Tyrone in the back. He comes sometimes.
And what about the gays and the lesbians?
Hey, they’re welcome to come. Jesus’ll straighten them out.
You doubt sometimes?
It’s okay. Just leave that part of yourself at home.
